As an egalitarian, Wesleyan-leaning Christian stuck in a hierarchy loving, ultra Calvinist church, I definitely don't fit in! I guess I'd never considered that one could belong without fitting in. Unfortunately, the under current at the church I attend with my husband is such that I know my views are "unbiblical," and so it's easiest just to stay quiet and accept that I don't have "a valid place." The initial hope ignited by that statement is crushed by the size of the "if."<br /><br />That's a downer of a comment -- Sorry!
